Stainless Steel Welded Pipes manufactured under ASTM A312 / ASME SA312 are widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, water treatment, food processing, marine and utility piping systems, offering excellent corrosion resistance, durability, and weldability.
The addition of molybdenum (Mo) in SS 316/316L significantly enhances resistance to chloride attack, pitting, and crevice corrosion, making these grades suitable for seawater and harsh chemical applications.
