Fabricated Welded Tubes are custom-engineered tubular sections manufactured by welding sheets, strips, or profiled plates to create tubes with non-standard dimensions, shapes, or alloy combinations. They are ideal when:

How Fabricated Welded Tubes Are Manufactured (Step-by-Step)

Manufacturing Steps:

  1. Raw Material Selection & Preparation: Sheets, coils, or plates in stainless steel, duplex, nickel alloys, or titanium are selected based on the project’s mechanical and corrosion requirements.
  2. Forming (Roll Forming / Press Brake / Custom Tools): Material is formed into the required geometry: Cylindrical, Square, Rectangular, Oval, Elliptical. Bespoke profiles created from CAD drawings.
  3. Precision Welding: Based on application, we use: TIG Welding (hygienic), Laser Welding (small HAZ), Plasma Welding (deep penetration), Orbital Welding (thin-wall), or MIG Welding (thicker plates).
  4. Weld Dressing & Seam Finishing: For stainless, duplex & nickel alloys, the weld is ground, flushed, blended with the parent material, and polished internally/externally as needed.
  5. Heat Treatment (Where Required): Solution annealing or stress relieving for Duplex alloys, Nickel alloys, and special stainless grades. Ensures corrosion resistance & restoration of grain structure.
  6. Surface Finishing: Depending on use: 2B / BA, 180–600 grit polish, Mirror polish, Mechanical polish, or Passivated surface.
  7. Testing & Dimensional Accuracy: Tubes undergo strict QA: Weld UT / RT, PMI identification, surface finish check, dimensional measurement, and squareness / ovality validation.
  8. Custom Fabrication (Optional): Ready-to-install assemblies: Collars, Mitred joints, Bends, Frames, Brackets, Headers & manifolds.
